Serenity Villa

Overview

Nestled in the heart of Kolkata's most prestigious neighborhood, Serenity Villa is a masterwork of contemporary residential architecture. The design dissolves traditional boundaries between interior and exterior, creating a continuous spatial experience that flows from the private garden through living spaces and up to the roof terrace.<br><br>The villa comprises four levels connected by a sculptural staircase that functions as the building's vertical spine. Each level opens to landscaped terraces, ensuring every room has a direct connection to nature.<br><br>Materially, the palette is restrained and sophisticated: exposed concrete, locally sourced sandstone, warm teak wood, and floor-to-ceiling glass. A central water courtyard serves as the thermal heart of the home, cooling the surrounding spaces through evaporative cooling and creating a meditative focal point.
